Wow! What happened? Is this an electric cable?
Yes it's an electric cable above the level of the street lamps. Quite a feat (!) to get them up there, if they were thrown upwards, and I couldn't see anywhere from where they could have been thrown from above, or even sideways (at first I thought they might have been hung out to dry)!
