Car(e)less writing

This (the damp squid item, in case the link doesn't go there directly) made me laugh and reminded me that I have several times seen the expression, in internet forums, "wreckless driving", as in "I was stopped by the police for going through a red light, what is the penalty for wreckless driving?". When you think about it, this is actually the opposite of what they mean, as reckless driving is quite likely to produce wrecks (wreckful driving?)!
