The design in the second building is quite eye catching.
second one is nice! what exactly is it? two buildings?
Yes it's 2 buildings, both designed by the architect Piet Blum in 1984. The one on the left is called the Blaak Tower or Potlood (Pencil) Building because it's round and has a pointed roof, and the one with the yellow cubes is called Kubus(woningen). I just found out that part of it is now a hotel, so next time I go I hope to see inside one of the cubes as I couldn't work out what they must be like inside!
