Cairo: Hotel Marriott
It's funny, I've only been to Cairo once before, many years ago, and I stayed at exactly the same hotel, the Cairo Marriott which is housed partly in a palace of the former Khedive. On that occasion my meeting was at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is the white building shown here, actually on the other side of the Nile.
In the Garden Café you can order a breakfast called "the Continental gentleman" - but I couldn't quite bring myself to ask for one! Cost, 105 EGP which is about €11.

The green interiors look quite regal!
I would have loved to hear what the English Gentleman was @ the continental
