One of many, many murals in Orgosolo

Snowy rooftops in Orgosolo

Abstract snowscape! I rather like the effect produced by combination of bouncy bus and rain rolling down the window

Typical Sardinian countryside...

.... with typical  Sardinian sheep!

Heart of Europe

Not having passed that way after dark since before Christmas, I didn't notice this neon heart decorating the European Parliament building until mid-January, so I thought it was for Valentine's Day! But it disappeared at the end of last month, when I learned that it was actually to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of  Vaclav Havel, and had first been displayed at Prague Castle 10 years ago, when Havel was President of the Czech Republic.
