Milking it

Demonstration today by European dairy producers, in Place du Luxembourg outside the European Parliament, against unfair prices (from the supermarkets). Yesterday they sprayed the police and Parliament buildings with hundreds of gallons of fresh milk, using high-pressure hoses.

I did see lots of other birds but was not fast enough to photograph them, in particular the beautiful lilac-breasted roller, which I hope someone else may have been able to catch on film.
